Application
Geotextile can effectively block soil particles lost with water flow, while allowing liquid to pass through, thus protecting soil structure and maintaining engineering stability.
By forming drainage channels, geotextile can quickly discharge excess water or gas inside the soil body.
Separation of different soil layers: preventing mixing of soils, e.g. separating subsoil from fill soil in highway construction.
Enhancing soil strength through tensile properties, for soft foundation treatment or slope stabilization.
Composite geotextiles (e.g. needle-punched nonwoven composite with PE membrane) further extend the use.
